FUTURE ||| VISIONS
Joshua is a Philadelphia-based writer and filmmaker whose storytelling grounds us in the whirlwind that is human relationships. Dramatic narratives that invite the supernatural and disturb the collective conscious is their specialty.
Always socially conscious and meditative, their gaze is turned to the horizon and held by the question; "what if?"
A film collective founded by Tira Olkdari and Joshua Afiriyie.
We specialize in narrative filmmaking and content creation, and a currently expanding to commercial work. We also like to center experiences from queer and black communities.
Our mission is universalization. If we can find the humanity in the story, it will resonate with the human.
Our most recent film The Politics of Girl-Eat-Girl Relationships is an official selection at the Greater Lehigh Film Festival, First Take Film Festival, as well as the Philadelphia Film Showcase. The film is sitting at 5k views on YouTube as of August 8th.
More coming your way, stay tuned.
